I had an issue similar to that with my daughter's 92SE. It turned out to be a faulty ignition coil relay that I got lucky and found. Plugged in a new one and good to go. It's a cheap,easy try.

You can try a reset procedure, I did a write up a few years ago. It's here if you search.
If you have a real issue the reset won't fix it, but if it is just a glitch it will.

I put Beck/Arnley in my 300ZX and my 93SE and had no problems. Sold the 300ZX running good and the 93SE has been running well for 3 years with the replacements.
