Why is my strut almost touching my tire?

Why is my strut almost touching my tire?

i have k-sports, and i am not to low about 2 inches. and i went to get an alignment today? He said he coudl not do it cause mu strut is aboce 1/8th inch from my tire. I looked and it is!

where my bottom spring pearch is it like about right on the tire. 1/8th inch off. Sorry if this is not a good expenation, but i will try to get some pics.
the guys said it might be a bent spindle? does this sound liek something i culd be or do anyone have any other idea's

You may have dialed in all the negative camber with the slotted hole in the strut bolts. It would angle the tire close to the strut if you have set it like that.

can you explain more? which bolts? the lower strut mount bolts? sorry just do not understand

There are 4 camber bolts for each of the front shocks. You can see them from under the hood. You can move the shock by loosening the 4 bolts with alan wrenches and just moving the whole assembly. I advise jacking the car up first.

No I mean the 2 lower strut bolts. One of them is oval to aid in camber adjustment. You can try loosening them and pulling the wheel away from the strut. That will give you maximum positive camber, so you'll need to dial it in with the camber plates.

that si what i thought you were aying, i got out there and did it, and i looks better but not the best, but it is much better than it is, and it makes me feel alittle safer.

cardana which one is it and how much you askin?
