245/40/19 on 19x8 +40 mm offset

how is this gonna look ? is the rim gonna sit flush or stick out of the car? im thinkin it will look very nice. im not quite sure about the tire size (40 profile) but i think im going to go for it. i want the extra rubber for better ride quality but at the same time i want to lower my car a decent amount without having rubbing issues ! what do u guys think

I read on here before of a guy with a Black Max dropped on Tein Basics with 245/40/19's on an 8.5 width with a + 42 offset. He said he had absolutely no rubbin issues whatsoever. I just got my S-Techs and Illuminas put in the other day and my rims are coming in this week. My friend and I will see what happens with a 2" drop and a 40 series on 19's. I don't see why it should not be able to be done, if somebody can do it with Coilovers.

Aight well, I got my 19" x 8.5" Zenetti's put on today with a 245/40/19 on an Illumina/S-Tech setup and I have absolutely no rubbin issues whatsoever of any kind. Rides perfectly fine. My S-Tech drop has risen due to the bigger tires, but it is still low and the tires fill the wheel gap beautifully. Like a 1-finger gap, IF that. I will post pics ASAP. Hopefully it's not raining on the weekend.

I have 19x8.5" with 35mm offset and I'm sitting very low on Ksports with almost no rubbing. The car does sit slightly higher b/c of the larger tires but nothing to outrageous. You should be fine with 245/40's with a 2" or milder drop.

I had 19x8.5 245/40/19 with s-techs and (gasp) 15 offset minor rubbing. But that was then, now im slammed with coilovers.
