I have a reman starter from O'Reilly Auto Parts on my car currently, with a lifetime warranty, along with one of their alternators. Haven't had a problem yet.

Here's a better idea. Build a tube chassis, throw that money pit of a motor in it, and then take the body of the car and just slap it on top of the tube chassis. Boom, there you go.
