No. It does not. It was manufactured in 2002, before the MP3 format was available, however, it does play regular burned CD without any problems.

Only does it with the auto up function, and I have actually taken the door panel off recently to check to make sure nothing is in the way - which there isnt. Seems to slide on its track just fine.

That's still correct. Every shop and mechanic will call it something different. Either way, its just a mode that protects the engine/transmission components from further damage.
