HG's dont make a hissing noise. If you hear a veery loud hissing, then yes you have a intake leak. Find it and fix it. Intake leaks are loud so finding...

true but you can get a compression test for $25 at harbor freight and test it in 36 minutes... Honnestly there is no excuse at this point.
