I like both cars, but I prefer the throttle response of the VQ35.


Currently at 190k and doesn't burn excessive oil.

I did this on my 02 I35 (same as a 5.5 gen Maxima), and used 04 Maxima SE calipers sourced from tirerack.com for the front, and 02 Max SE rear calipers from partsgeek.com

Apparently it's an issue on these cars, and I'm in the process of replacing brakes on all four corners because of the wear on the rear right caliper.

You can also go with a headers-back exhaust
