In the past I have used a penny, put it in the small slot and turn, seems to apply a bit more torque with more contact area than a small flatead!

Proper cloth

I like to use one of the round microfiber wax applicators, and a good quality microfiber cloth, one reason is the are tough and reusable, just make sure when you wash or launder the cloth wash them...

I love the fact that transmission will near redline when floored and take the rpm's to the powerbands "sweetspot"
