When was the last time you replaced the air filter? if it's been a while, that could be the cause of the code. Those K/N filter allow more air to enter the engine so consider one of those as well....

Maxima with 99kmiles, I get SES light . The code list says Thermostat for the 2001 or if it's a 2002 the same code is throttle relay. Anyone out there have experience with this?

You can still try reading the code. stick a paper clip in pin 9 and ground it, then start reading the flashes. look on that service manual link to see what's causing the light.
