I love how, even with 4 people in my car (not skinny bishes either ) my 2k can still throw us back in our seats! And of course, as stated before, the room. Like i said; they weren't skinny bishes either

I love that my car is 8yrs old and there's no rust on my car. No rust on the quarter panels like most other cars or doors. I'm keeping her for a damn long time

I love the styling of my 7th Generation Maxima! It looks sexy when cleaned, polished, and cruising past a store-front with large glass windows. Oh, she's a sexy beast!

I love that my fourth gen blends in traffic but still looks clean, and the way the seats are positioned, my cold ac, my comfy interior with heated seats, a lot better than most newer cars out there, great quality, and the fact my 4dr car does better burn outs than the Hondas I used to build, great torque and power from a stock engine, did I mentioned quick enough to get u out of harms way when needing to accelerate fast, great gas mileage, and the roar from the vq, I will forever own a maxima as a dd!

I love how I have a 17 year old car running at 62K miles and next to zero rust. She moves quick all around (plenty of quick acceleration at higher speeds,) handles like a charm, averaging 24.5mpg when fun daily driving, sounds wonderful, simple to work on (my apology's to those with rust.)

Other reason to love my Max: Made many stoopid things to my first max and totally jacked it up. The accident was a blessing in disguise: I attained this beauty. Probably closet to the freshest from factory 95 out there and I now have a clean, open canvas to create the car I want. The way I want it.

As funny as that sounds I am guilty of the same thing. Especially when I'm driving through the city infront of those big building with glass reflections. Don't know but she really sexy to watch...

For me, it's the heated steering wheel, the used value, and the combination of power and luxury.

Of all the things I love about my Max, my favorite of all time is the heated leather seats. It makes the winter two cars can creep through a light commute so much more civilized.

98 maxima = not so much money
Vq35de engine swap = more money
Bolt ons = more money
The look on someones face when they dont know if that was a maxima that just dusted them = PRICELESS
I love that look.

^......... That's actually really true man and I would of never thought of that. I had my car for about 6yrs and not once do I think about it getting stolen. That's why I'm not putting no dvd screen, subs or anything audio to attract the thieves, plus my rims got some special locks on them. Not saying it can't be stolen, I just want to make it as hard as possible to the point that it deters them to go for the honda's....

It's those beautiful curves.
I'm a new max owner, just bought an 09 sv sport w/tech. Where do I start? The min I test rode it I was in love. Was looking for a sporty family sedan that the wife could drive if she needed to, but something rewarding for me to drive. I was looking towards Hyundai sonata turbo, KIA optima turbo, accord v6, Mazda 6, used bimmer 335 xi and then I saw a used max and drove it to compare......no comparison. So what do I love? Just from my initial impressions...The acceleration that pushes you back, the sound when you get on it, the smooth ride, the plush interior, the cockpit feel, the tech ammenities, the paddle shifters are fun, the cvt- its smooth, the look, the curves- its cool looking behind in side mirrors and catching the flaired out fender in your view, also the flairs in the front... reminds you you're in something sporty. I could go on, its an awesome car that hits the nail on everything I wanted. The only minor smudge is the mpg and prem fuel, but I can live with that....happy owner here. Now just need to figure out how the keep the super-black paint job clean.

The reliability of my 95 (most parts on it are original-130k miles).

Also the power nissan got out of a 3.0l engine that stil gets almost 30 mpg on the hwy.

Plus the comfortable interior and simple dash layout.

The cost of parts is for another thread though.

No way I can name just one thing I love about my 5.5!
1. Never having to yield getting on the Interstate
2. Creature Comforts and Interior Space (I'm 6'5")
3. 15" JL and still having trunk space...well some anyway
4. After 6 years I still see her sitting in the parking lot and think "damn, that's sexy"
5. I've put 88k on it since I bought it in '06 and my only major repair was a Power Steering Pump earlier this year...

With all that being said I noticed a coolant leak yesterday when I disconnected the battery to do the Trip Computer Ground Out so I may be adding a radiator to that list...which reminds me!

6. Reasonable Prices on Repairs! (I don't pay people to turn wrenches...)

Any other comparison is apples to oranges.
I halfway agree with you. The Altima actually does a splendid job competing with those models. The Maxima actually is another tier above that level. It's more of a competitor to an Acura (since Honda doesn't have a higher end sedan than the Accord). It is also more inline with the Avalon price-wise (not Camry).

This is what I like so much about the Maxima. It's sort of in it's own niche tier.

I love how everyone hate driving manual cars in traffic when I really don't care. My transmission is powerful to the point I can stay in 2nd or 3rd gear without changing. Transmission is so strong that I could start in 3rd gear, which I have done a few times by accident. Now you can't beat that...

i like the car period but what i really bought it for was the drivetrain... thats how i always choose cars first (well, insurance governs first since i'm 21 lol), then looks, then amenities.

i guess the BEST thing i like about it is how all 3 of those things are plentiful and blend well on the max.

Best bang for buck. And most sporty sedan compared to other manufactures. Like the accord is for kids, candy is for old men, and the maxima is a man's car. I mean come on all this power, comfort and comes with optional manual tranny. Well up to the 6 gen anyways. But yeah its easily an overall winner. You ain't gonna get an accord or camry wit these looks power and leather for the same price

Haven't made a payment for this car in over 15 years. Paid it in full brand new in Nov 1997.

For the past 4 years the only payments to shops were for new balanced tires, 4 wheel alignments, and yearly inspections. I've done all repairs, tune-ups, upgrades, and mods with assistance from these forums.

This smooth running 15 year car cost me very little money over the last several years.

Oh. Sarcasm I see

FYI the FWD and beam are well implemented. I've toyed with mustangs and vipers, totally trashing them in the curves. Of course in the straightaways the viper was gone like warp factor 9 lol
