Cheap bypass for intake
found this..
i am almost tempted to get one to compare it to the AEM bypass...
eBay Motors: AIR FILTER BYPASS VALVE COLD AIR INTAKE 2.75" PIPE (item 110211751343 end time Jan-12-08 17:32:17 PST)
vs the AEM one...
eBay Motors: AEM BYPASS VALVE FOR COLD AIR INTAKE - 2.75" *FREE S/H* (item 360010104340 end time Jan-10-08 08:32:51 PST)
thoughts???

You asked for my thoughts. I told you.
those things are completely utterly useless, unless you're driving through stuff you shouldn't.
if you do happen to drive through water deep enough to cause the thing to hydrolock, you're going to be messing up your tranny and wheel bearings even if that bypass valve saves the engine. driving through water more than ankle deep is just stupid and asking for trouble. don't do it.
