2500W RMS system here.. 2F cap in the trunk, optima red top up front, ASP UDP, stock alternator.
lights barely dim at idle at full volume, and I haven't had a problem at all with the alternator going out. in fact, it's the ogirinal alternator at 216k miles on the engine.
No, you don't have to worry about the alternator not keeping up, unless you sit in traffic all day with your stereo cranked full volume...
