is it that time again, they might be lookin for pics for the next years maximas? from all the responses I got in the members ride section, i think i will submit my car this time around, it would be an honor to have it in there.

Yup that is correct, we are getting ready to start gathering pictures for our 2006 Calendar. I will be posting in the General Maxima Discussion forum today requesting pictures. Brooke....a.k.a. Maxima Girl will be choosing the winners.

How to repair my maxima 2000 SE- trunk holder rod. its broken at the left bracket area. Please suggest. Dealer is asking for 400 bucks for bracket + labor. The trunk does not hold upright when opened without the holder now

huh? i think you're posting the question in the wrong forum. if it's the springs that keep tension on the trunk when it's up, theyre a pain in the a$$ to take out and put back in, but should cost you less that 100 bucks for the part.

My new 2000 GXE

The RPM's stall and the car goes nowhere when I accelerate in Drive....but it works fine in D2...but still takes a while to go... What is that the tranny or some type of arir thingie....
