Hi everyone! I would like to thank those of you who have sent pictures already for the calendar. They look great! Unfortunately I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is the submission date for the photos has been moved back one week. The last day to submit your photographs is now November 19th. The bad new is why it has been moved back. Greg was in a bad car accident while attending SEMA in Las Vegas this past week. He was admitted to a hospital there and treated. They kept him under watch for a few days before allowing him to fly home. This caused some delay for our project but, we would like to assure you we are back on schedule and we appreciate your participation in this claendar. Without the Maxima communities photos there would be no calendar! Thanks everyone. -Maxima Girl

If you have any further questions please feel free to e-mail Greg or myself.

Thank you to everyone who submitted photos for the calendar. We are still in the process of picking those who will be featured in the calendar. This is a very hard job because, they all look great! If you are chosen we will contact you before mid December. Once again thank you to everyone on Maxima.org for making this possible.

The Maxima's have been chosen! Congratulations to those of you who were chosen and thank you for submitting photos, an e-mail will be sent out to you. Everyone else, I can't tell you how amazing all the maxima's look that were submitted. The originality, the paint jobs and the unique modifications, they all look like calendar material! I hope that everyone who did not make it this year will submit next year and encourage more to do so. We were looking for backround, originality, all generations and colors! Thanks again Maxima community for all the support and wonderful photographs! This was only made possible because of you! -Maxima Girl

Thanks I appreciate it. I was only in the hospital for a week, and now have to wear this annoying neck brace for another month.

Thanks for all the nice emails you guys sent me I appreciate it.

Yeah as you guessed it we are behind schedule. We actually are waiting for a couple people to submit higher res photos. Its a time consuming task of gathering all the photos and ensuring they are the proper size and format. They definately should be available by mid January.
Thanks all for your patience.

Calendar is almost done and going to the printers soon. Before we print them out I want to get your opinion. We two options here, one is to make the calendar in the normal format, turn the page for each month, or we can make it in a poster format. In the poster format all the months will be displayed in one place, and the rest of it will be a poster featuring all the Maximas. Going the route of the posters will cut the price in half. We are still not sure of final pricing yet, but flip calendars may be as high as $10 and the poster may be as high as $5. Either way it is a very fair price and will go to support the Maxima community. I would love to get your feedback and thoughts on this.

Thanks,
Greg

I like the flip to each month. It would be able to go in my office at work more so than a poster.

I really think the flip version would be the more enjoyable as something different would be seen each month instead of just clustered up together.

Something to think about for next year if you can't do it this year...

Do both, that way you can incorporate more Maximas. Maybe the "Top 12" get in the flip calendar and you can drop 20 or 30 of the next tier into the poster.

Any specifics on the print date? It seems like most of the guys prefer the standard format. Or even better - both!

I have gotten many emails requesting the traditional calendar, so we are gonna go with that and just work out a lower price with the printer. Speaking of printers, the calendar is at the printer now and we should hopefully have it back soon.

Please let us know when and where we can get a copy of the calendar. Would feature cars get one for free by any chance?
