Someone please explain what these are or what they are good for: camber plates, camber bolts, & pillowball top mounts (found a pic below). I been searching but can't find a definition of these.

Also I plan to get coilovers & if I do are any of these a must to get?

thanks

Camber bolts and plates are designed to adjust a vehicle's camber. This is only necessary when a car is lowered drasically and out of spec, or if one desires to decrease camber to improve handling. Generally, people do not need them since most lowering springs will keep you withing stock camber (which is slightly adjustable).

Camber bolts are a cheap way of repairing camber, they sometimes (rarely) have problems breaking.

Camber plates are more adjustable and durable, and much easier to adjust as well. The way to go, if you have the dinero. If you are lowering 2"+ with coilovers, you should get camber plates. However I would think most of the high end products (JIC, KEI, Tein) come with them (not sure tho).

Pillow ball mounts I do not know much about, but I believe they are part of the suspension design. They don't have much to do with the camber/alignment I believe, just a superior mount which replaces strut bearings (?).
