i really never wanted one untill one day my dad told me about what i think of the new maximas, since nissan has been in my family for the last 9 cars. after thinking about it and doing some research(checking out the mods) i realized that i really liked it.

WTF are we doing here then if we dont have one?

I got mine at a good price and I knew it was a great car power wise and reliability wise. It also has good space and subtle styling. Great combo.

Maximas have always been big here in NYC. I can bet that any block you go through you will see atleast 1. Back in the day all the hustlers used to have them, now everyone does.

My parents recommended it to me since they had an 87. I never really noticed them until I started looking into them and realized how quick they were for sedans. A few days after I bought it I found out about the .org and was amazed and really happy that so many people were into modding them

i wanted a third gen, but there weren't any good ones around where i live so i found a 97 with low miles. At the time, it was the most powerful car that fit my price and insurance range.

It was the summer of 01 and my choices were a 97-00 altima or 98-00 sentra... then i found the 97 max and got the guy to let it go for $6K after taxes and everything. Even hooked it up with smog check at his shop. It had 57k miles and it's still running great.

There were probably better choices at the time, but i didn't care... I was set on getting a Nissan and 300zx or 240sx were out of the question for me

My last car was a 1992 Camaro RS.

4 Engines in 5 years made me want to find a much more reliable car.

Looked into it, and bought a maxima.

My previous 2 cars were 2-door hatchbacks ('90 GS turbo FWD eclipse, '95 Probe GT). I wanted a bigger car..

The combo of a 5 speed tranny, 4 doors and nice styling in a mid-size car sold me...

I was going to get an Altima before the Max, but i was like, why would i go and get a 98 Altima, and spend the same on insurance, when i can get a 95 Max so much faster, and way better. I made my decision and i have no regrets. my dad worked for Doner Nissan in Ontario for like 10 years, and i didnt know much about the Max at all, they would only give him Altima's to bring home. Never a Max. My brother had a 3rd Gen about 6-7 years ago, and everyone in school wanted his car. Also, during the 4th Gen years, it's proven that Maxima's were the most used cars for drug dealers and pimps in New York. Fast, roomy, and large trunk for....products.

I remember being 13 and telling my friends that my choice of car when I would get my license would be a 97 blk on blk SE. I used to love those cars with a nice light tint.

I was coming from a 1989 Mercury Sable and wanted something small like a two door that was a manual, 98 prelude to be exact or a g20 and pop in a turbo to match the stock sr2de engine. Then one day in autotrader.com i found my baby. A 5 speed Maxima SE 2000... fell in love when i first walked onto the lot and saw this white beauty right in front of the dealership. I didn't think I was going to get something this big but then thought to myself..."wow, what I can do in the back seat." I WAS SOLD.

Oops, I mean thats much better. It just makes it harder to read when we have to translate everything first. You seem like a nice guy and you know what a ricer is. Enjoy your Maxima.

Btw before I Bought my first Maxima-95 gle black on black leather- I knew that it was an awesome package. Decent looks(especially when modded). Relatively quick-compared to other vehicles on the road. Plenty room for my 6ft 1inch body. Has 4 doors so I didnt always have to move my seats to let people in the back. And I love the interior layout-very clean and simple.

Same here with many. I only saw older ppl in STL,MO driving max's.
I got my from my dad's CEO boss who drove it to
the airport as his leave car. It got hail damage then it came to me for $4000 w 90k se.

It was a deal at the time and just a normal car.
Then the Search engine Said "search maxima".
I did this 2 yrs ago & found Maxima.org... lost it on the keyboard..(wiped it back down, and ive never left this place since.
Where else do they have a site strictly made for our cars in particular. Maxima.org

BLKMAX005SPD those rims are hot. whatd u pay a piece for those man?

I remember the first time I rode in one, it was a 95 SE 5spd, that thing was sweet and fast and all I could think was "man, I want a Max."

Now, I own 2 of them> 2k and 2k3.
