So I went to the track on halloween...

and managed a best of a 13.72 @ 99.77 on my 18" wheels. I watched the video from last night and the one run that the guy managed to get of me was the 13.7 run. Hopefully they can get it uploaded and I will post it asap. Weather was around 55 degrees on this run. I was shocked to say the least. I was in the 13's all night on street tires and I know a 13.4-13.5 is possible as the car sits right now before the ECU . Is this the quickest all motor street tire run?

02 Auto
Mods UDP, WSP y pipe, b pipe, GAB, HKS rear

slip breakdown:
r/t .5499
60' 2.1314

1/8 8.8105
mph 80.63
1000' 11.4662
1/4 13.7273
mph 99.77

I will get teh slip scanned when I get the chance as well as hopefully getting the video posted.

Holy *****!!

Great run(s). Do you have modified VB or do the drop resistor mod?

I can't wait to see what it does with the TS ECU.
Are you thinking about the cams at all?

Way to represent the autos.

As the car sits now the only thing I plan on doing is the TS ECU. I have the stock VB and also had the resistor plugged in b/c I don't feel like it helps any for me. Thanks

OK guys I ran on 18" street tires. The reason I said spinning on slicks is b/c I figured Synki knew I had slicks when he said something about using something besides 18's. The other guy said spin like crazy. Then I quoted spin on slicks. I never said I ran on slicks anywhere it was just quoting.

I ran on my 18" nt555 tires

Only 80 lbs.? Like you always say, every bit helps. And why do you have to bring my Hurricanes into this discussion? They played like **** and handed the game to VT on a silver platter. That's what happened.

I think he has some sort of launcher on the front of his car that launches a stick across the finish line before his car does. He pushed a button a split second before he crosses so that he can get a better time.

Shame on you Blu

Either then him weighing nearly nothing, I still dont understand why his car is so damn quick! Either he knows something we dont (launch technique we arnt aware of ) because something just doesnt add up. Its just too quick to see right for an N/A auto. No Matt im not tryin to say your boosted, you've heard that enough from the V8 guys you've beaten. It just seems a little screwy

its because his car has spent too much time around SR20DEN's car, so blu's car performs like its on nitrous, with out the cost of it.

Congrats good times. Do you really weigh less then a buck and a half? that may explain the good time slips barely no weight in the car
good 60fts 2.1's, try 2.0's next time, I know is not easy

Kloogs, when I went to North Carolina, folks out there prep their tracks. They go out there clean them out and spray some stuff on them. I had a broken MEVI and was pulling 2.0s 60fts pulling 13.8's @103. The problem was that torque steer was a b...ch. The car would pull left and right because of the compound they laid on the floor, tires would grip. He is using the same tires I use NT555's. I buy that tire because its made of a compound that does not wear down that quick.

Do you believe my run a little better with the WRX now? Nothing was really running impressive that night...an 00 auto was running 16.1's and I ran a 00 SS Camaro that did a 13.4 @ 103. My good friend Jackie was running 13.5 @ 105 in her all motor type r hatch with intake, exhaust, and chipped ecu. As for my track being faster yes it is but looking at Aarons times at yalls track he lost a little over 2 tenths and .78 mph from when he was running at fayetteville. So that would put me at around 13.9-14.0 @ 98 mph if I was to run there just for a little comparison to my knowledge. I know its not the proper way to compare but based on the info and real world knowledge thats what I come up with.
