How to remove yellow center caps? Get new rims! **pics**

Whee, new toys... I've never seen these on another maxima. I did a search and one person suggested it, but nobody seems to have done it. Getting the rims, tires, lugs, getting em mounted - every step of the way was difficult. Those from the west coast forum probably saw me complaining endlessly. Well, they are finally on, so here goes...

ADR 18x8" Version II - Polished Gunmetal
Weight: 23lbs
Wrapped in brand new 235/40-18 Bridgestone Potenza RE750's

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm really happy with my choice. They were hard to find, but I got them through a guy who imports ADR stuff. He said they were rare.. I dunno how true that is (dont really care) but like I said, I certainly havent seen them around. I'm also very pleased with the rubber so far. Road noise is a little more than my old yoko's (on 16's) but the grip is simply amazing. I feel much more planted going around sharp curves etc. No tires squeal anymore..

I got a really good deal on the rims. Not sure if you'd be able to find that deal from anywhere else. When all was said and done I spent around $1500.

dam those rims look hot and they look BIG, normally big rims look smaller than they should. Wow, now a kit would make the combination sooo perfect. Great upgrade man

Yeah man, that's sorta the look I was goin for. I've always like the type E's, but they only come in 17's. I also like these a little more I think because they have a reallllly sharp look because they have really hard edges on the spokes. I also like the "polished gunmetal" that these rims come in. In direct sunlight they look very dark gunmetal, in the shade they look silverish, and in nighttime/unnatural light they almost look chrome. Everything behind the spokes is gunmetal, but the spokes and the 1" lip are "polished gunmetal"

And yes, I plan on getting a kit, but I am holding my breath for the superloon kit. I probably shouldn't, but I am. If someone is selling a cheap black stillen kit down the line, I may get impatient and grab it.. who knows..

Borbet E's have been my favorite since day one and will always be....

but I agree with you Jon that they should offer them in 18'' sizes too.

Anyway, your car looks really good. How's the ride with 18's? I've only been off of the boards for about a month and I see everyone is progressing along with mods...
