So my mom needed a new car and I found an unbelieve deal on a 2003 Maxima SE. We went up there, looked at it, test drove it, and gave the guy a deposit so that we could purchase it a couple days later. Well, between then and now, my mom has decided that she is not confident that she felt comfortable in the 5th gen seats. She is 5'4" and felt that the 5th gen seats were too big for her compared to the 92 camry she had been driving and the Mitsubishi Galant rental car she has now. Her main complaint was that her upper back was not supported well and we decided that a neckrest that hangs from the headrest and sticks out would be a good solution, but we need to try it before we actually buy the car. Any idea on a store that would carry one? BTW, these are the cloth seats. Any alternative suggestions?

Bump.. gotta buy or not buy in the morning.. Contemplating buying just because it's a good deal, if we had to sell, it wouldn't be a huge loss. Also comtemplating having seat modified (ie, stuffing/foam removed as needed or whatever... Gunna try putting down a pillow.. she seemed to think that was an improvement on my 4th gen seats.

Are you memebers of AAA? They have people that can check seat safety, I bet they could give some tips so your mom would be comfortable and protected.
