Hey for the dynamat. Should I put some on the speaker grille or just put it all around the door panel only?

What about the covers of the speakers on the doors? Do i put anything on them because it always seems like the speakers are hitting the speaker covers all the time. Or just leave those alone.

Ohhh ok well at the moment I'm probably gonna be putting on some dynamat at the moment. No money to put into buying a new head unit and stuff. So Im going to do things to improve some things of my current system. Then later on try to buy a new one.

I will be asking you more about audio in the near future if I ever switch to an aftermarket deck. What is a best thing to use with an aftermarket deck with some bose speakers, so that I have best bass out of the stock bose speakers? I have heard some many people say so many different things on what they have used. I had bought an aftermarket clarion deck with the scosche integration adapter and that didn't work well. Also someone else had recommended me a scosche slc-4 line output converter.

Well at the moment it says that it is free shipping for a 1/2 in thick. So should I go for a 1/4 in thick instead of the 1/2in??

Ohhh alright that's what Im going to try to do is put dynamat on the front doors. How thick of a dynamat sheet would I need. I saw on the dynamat website that they have a 1/2 inch sheet available. Or do you think 1/2 inch is too thick, especially when I put everything back together?

Well I won't be putting anything new or anything new in terms of audio in. I just want it not to rattle as much as it is doing right now. Since this is an old car the audio might not sound as great when it was first put in. I heard about dynamat, I just need to take some time and actually put it on which sometimes I don't have. But I will look into it.

And also I know that the highs and low don't sound as great with these bose speakers. I use the pa15-nis for my ipod and I can hear that the bass as not very deep as I want it to be.

Really the cheap stuff doesnt work. Sears sells Dynamat Xtreme for really cheap and Best Buy sells it as well and matched the sears price I showed them. You can try whatever brand you want, But in the end you wont be satified. If Im not mistaking, the 96 I30 has 2 rear deck 6.5" speakers and 2 more in the front door panels? What are you going to install? Speakers or subwoofers? The important areas to dynamat change with different appilications

Hey I head you are good with audio. Do you know what I can use to reduce the rattle with the bose radio. I have a 96 I30 and I was wondering what would be a cheap solution? And also could I use fiber glass insulation in the door panels?
