Where do you buy your "Wires" at?

Ill probably be flamed with this, oh well.
Im currently looking for just a low gauge (0-6) Gauge wire.. ive looked at Home Depot, and Lowes online, and none of them carry lower than 10G..

Where do all of you get your speaker/power/amplifer Wires from?
I dont really want to spend any money on a Ampkit..

knukonceptz for wiring, I like stinger's stuff when it comes to battery terminals and such. My knukonceptz battery terminals didn't grip my red top's battery posts very well and rusted out after a couple of years

Home Depot cables are good enough for low power home stereo's and such. Car audio is much more demanding, so skimping on cables is not recommended. You really get what you pay for here.

I bought my cables from cardomain (stinger) and knukonceptz

I twist my own strands of wire in my basement. Then dip it into a pot of melted plastic.

depends on the shop. but for the most part, the shop will raise the price a wee bit so that they can make some profit selling the wire sets.

Big +1 on that. If you can't get employee discount at a shop, then go online to get your wires.

or make them yourself

Don't want to spend a few extra dollars on good wire? Why exactly would someone want to make that the weak link of their installation? Better invest in better insurance coverage and a fire extinguisher.

I know in my area the shops discount wire pretty good cause they don't sell much of it anymore and it keeps the sales on it up. About the same price as the internet after shipping.
