what is this item, washer?

A repair shop replaced my power steering pressure hose and also replaced 6 spark plugs. During this repair, air intake manifold, air intake box and throttle body were removed.
After two days, I found a washer sitting near rack and pinion. Any idea what this is? thanks.

I’ve seen those before when doing spark plug surgery.

I think they came from the area of removing the Plenum/Valve Cover……can’t fully recall

A long bolt drops through these…
they come off the valve cover…. Like 8-12 bolts…dAmmitttt??????

. It’s 25 degrees and M tempted to go lift the hood. Still waiti@LtLeary

thanks! I double checked, Unfortunately, 4 of them in that picture doesn't have flat top.

They go with rubber grommets and let whatever part being secured have some wiggle room. Most likely it's for the air filter box but there are many parts secured that way.

I was replacing the spark cover tub seals and came across them. Am 99.999% certain. Peep at this

engine valve cover was not touched during spark plugs change, and those washers in engine valve cover have different color and threads inside.
I also check air filter box, no washer missing.
