Looks badass! Totally getting rid of the turn signal bulb in the rear... I'd like to do this myself if it isn't a PITA... Let us know!

it was an immense amount of work. you wont want to know what i'd charge to do this. they light up dim for running lights, bright for brake lights, and sequence for turn signals. the old turn signal bulb is now a 2nd reverse bulb and let me tell you that backing up with the reverse cam at night is ridiculous now ha

That's HOT!

I'd like to see what it looks like with parking lights ON and turn signal, as well as brake lights ON and turn signal as well.

Very well done!

But if I did that, then how would my whip stay unique? If I wanted to have what everyone else has I'd have left them stock.

Ghozt, that looks sick. I like everything about that down to the timing between each led lighting up. Way to go bro.

Screw being unique, name your price and let some rich ****'s pay it! (I'm not rich, lol) Some people need a place to spend 2 or 3 grand on taillights, right? Lol

No DIY, make people pay you and then you build it for them. Then the few people who get it owe it all to you. You could even include a "Ghozt" window sticker with a badass logo that I guarantee people would put on. Lol

Respectful answer!

Though it is already out there that you are the first to do this mod, and props to you. I understand you want to stay unique, but eventually everyone becomes that same. Well it depends on how deep their pockets are.

Again, props to you on the job, it looks sweet.
How long did it take you to complete, was it alot of dismantling of the lens ?

Even without this mod, I don't think you're in danger of losing 'uniqueness.'

And besides imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Good work though! You sir are a pioneer and innovator.

Not bad!!..but I never use my turn signals anyways..so it'd be pointless to do this mod! Yeah..I just said that.

I had no idea the older muscle cars had that; that's pretty cool! I modeled my idea off the more recent mustang tail lights that I'm sure you're all well aware of.

Yeah I'm sure somebody will see this and go hit up 180customs or another company and have something similar made, it's not rocket science but definitely takes some elbow grease and brains; I'd consider doing this on the side for people but I already have a full time job that pays the bills; this car stuff is just a hobby.

Regarding the time involved, a ridiculous amount of research and labor was involved. You'd think I was crazy for doing this...

I have a big car club meet tomorrow so I'm getting my updated video then which will demo all the functions (running lights/brake/sequentials) and maybe do a quick pan around so you can see all the other sick rides (mostly Infiniti's but we're all family)

I like it and thumbs up to him. But I don't like the multi purpose of it ex. turn signal and brake. There is a spot for the signals already whats the purpose of recreating it? just my opinion.

There wasn't a way to do sequential tail lights without re-purposing the brake lights LEDs. Doing it using the existing bulb sockets would just look weird.

Updated with second video link, hard to see the sequencing at night on film but video came out kinda cool.

Looks really nice! Haha i've wanted to do the same thing you have done (use the tailight also as a turn signal) before i got my 7thgen minus the sequential part. I had a another thread asking if it was even possible

Thanks again everyone.

Also I don't doubt someone will be able to replicate this, its not rocket science, but all I ask is give credit where its due for the idea cause this was a lot of work from inception to fabrication. Reverse engineering the circuitry and designing my own was most of the work but the hard part was getting everything working together and have it look OEM when finished. You may not believe it but the way I built this its completely plug and play using the OEM wire harness.

And I'm already working on my next custom mod. :-)
