Just got my max last week and I LOVE it. Always have like them since the 80's when they would talk to you 87-88 mayb never new they were this quick and fast. hell even the 5th generations are fast but i had know idea what i was getting into almost bought a 2005 red gli (jetta) with a 2.0 turbo but shockingly my max will beat that DAMN.

Geo Metro, Toyota Corolla, Eclipse RS to name a few. They don't stand a chance against me, except in parking lots with speed bumps... or entering driveways...

I'd prefer we meet at the track and settle it there. That's would really suck if you lost to a heavy 6thgen with lambo doors huh

I dont think i will ever drag race my car, it sucks 1st through 2nd. Tell me if you like what you hear though:

Thats what my car sounds like im still building it. I dont want to blow my transmission so you can have drag racing if you want.

So long as you don't dump the clutch and power shift it you will be fine. A friend of mine has a boosted 4th gen and he doesn't drive it easy, and the 5-speed is holding up fine.

Im sure i can get a low 13 sec pass if i tried on street tires but im just too nervous about that glass transmission. If the car was an auto then i would be all for it.
