No such thing as a performance chip for our cars. Gotta use a tuner of some sort.

Lol no performance chips for maximas, there were however flashed ecus, but they don't make them anymore for the car. Jim wolf technology ecu and technosquare, but like I said they don't make them anymore, I'm tuned on an air fuel controller only and I got lots of hp from my mods and better gas mileage.

You can get a Piggyback like a UTEC (used +/- 300 ebay) or Haltech (2000 new, but much better). Plus you would need an adapter for either.

This thread got me curious and I came across these guys: http://voloperformance.com/
They claim a mild hp and tq increase, ~17/17, but little to no change in mpg.

I don't really buy into this kind of stuff, but I used to run a Juicebox on a 335i and that made a world of difference.

Becareful with those $19.99 chips from ebay..use it and end up screwing up your whole car , like go to start and your trunk might open and wipers come on!

Don't waste your money.
Really. This is a freaking maxima not a twin turbo amg.

Keep the car maintained and enjoy.
