I have seen them as cheap as $100 plus another $100 for a two color(font body color, rear black) spray at a body shop. Much easier and if you don't do a good job with the bondo you will get cracks.
ditto never was available when I did mine. It's a lot of work though and believe him when he says you will get cracks if you don't do it well.

And take the cmod with a grain of salt, it won't fit that well and look as good as F&F or mine or others who actually hand built theirs from oem grilles.

A k bar works good for getting the center caps off, but that stripped bolt and rust business is nasty

OP, Good call on the OEM hood. Sorry, but if no hood pins, it will fly off at some point. The OEM latch is not that strong. I've seen it happen to fellow owners at low speeds.

Fender rolling isn't all that expensive as much as it is risky-ish, if some tool doesn't have the right sh*t or the right experience they can **** up your fenders.

Did you bend/cut the fender to bumper lip? That's where they rub first, not on the top section.

I'm talking about the rear here, though. Have a peek at where the bumper meets the fender you will see the 90* edge I'm talking about, you can just cut or bend it out of hte way with no adverse effects
