Plus HID's bought from cheapo Ebay sellers NEVER last very long at all.
Also on another side note... Save your money on that black halo projector junk and put a projector in your stock housings... much more effective and an A$$ load more light on the road then that garbage. I do retro's on the side, and would more than likely be about the same amount, and much better then ebay halo headlights.

I agree, just get some PIAA extreme bulbs... or laminex it. I HAD hid's in my fogs and switched that out for some PIAA extreme white bulbs, with lexus capsules. It's a much better look and no light puking. Waiting on a set of projectors and an 00-01 clear lenses.

Over priced at Derand... best place in Ottawa is either Jamie out at OttawaHID, or buy them off of theretrofitsource.com. Jamie gives out a year warranty but better quality stuff. TRS has an UN-beatable 5 year warranty and their products are absolutley amazing.

6000K is whitish blue, 5000K is more of a pure white, 4300K is stock HID color, such as a Phillips D2S bulb, 3700K is stock halogen, 3000K is yellow.
You have to also think of the lumen ratings as well because 4300K is the most, and it just goes down hill from either way on the spectrum

From looking at several pics online, I do like the pure white of the 5K. It looks like it has more usable light than 4300K, but then again they're just photos.

And OP my honest suggestion would be to look up and read the posts that MSU2000 has on his entire projector setups. Which allow you to have a MUCH brighter setup, while at the same time NOT blinding ppl.
If you want to know more on the Projector side of things either PM MSU, or come talk to me. I live in Barrhaven and can show you what I mean in exact person.

You don't need to see your money back... All you need is another set of headlights when you sell your car, and you still have all of the parts... They ARE universal... And not really all that difficult to install depending on which type of projector you get. A chimp could put and of the Morimoto Mini's in... Takes a little bit more skill to put in anything else.

Where did you get those? Is the housing glass or plastic that will melt?
BTW Clear daylight is about 5300 and is the best for your eyes to see unless you just want a look and don't care about functionality. Then again you give up some lumens for the higher frequency light over getting 4300

It would of made more of a difference if the headlight was HID. You should definitely consider it because it will look and shine better. Every headlight is different especially if you have a projector compared to a regular housing. In projectors it reduces the illumination and blue quite a bit
