Interesting SES scan...

I've had the notorious P1320 code now for a few months. Today I bought a new scanner and not only did it have the P1320, but it showed a second P1320 that was "pending"... Has anyone else ever encountered this? My car is a 2000 3.0 De-k 5-speed.

Mine shows pending codes too. I always thought they were codes that were thrown in the recent past that the ECU stores, but aren't actually being thrown when you take the reading. I could be wrong, but my code reader splits them into "fault" and "pending".

My code reader does the same thing. I just thought it was interesting that a primary code would have a fault, and also showing up as pending. At first I didn't notice it until I realized that it showed 2 codes stored, with the second one being the pending code.

P1320 is related to a bad coil see this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...on-signal.html

Yes, often I have seen both hard and pending code to be P1320. In the end the problem, was coil. Eventually when they become so bad that you will get cylinder specific code i.e. P030n where "n" is the cylinder number.
