pink dot coils?

I ordered 6 new coils for my 00 max last week and was sent coils with pink dots, are these alright to use on my 00? The part numbers are as follows:

On box:22448-2Y000 and 22448-2Y005
On pink dot coil:22448-2Y010 and 22448-2Y015

Since the box and the part have two different part numbers I want to make sure these new coils will work. Thanks

the 00-01 has different part numbers since the rears are different from the fronts

The first numbers are for A33B 04.99' - 06.00'
The last two #s doesn't work for me. Are you sure they are correct?

BTW, the 2000 US Maximas has two different part numbers for coils? Did you give your VIN when ordering them...?

Nissan updated them once again about 3 months ago. I've sold a bunch of them. Should be fine.

Gents, my bad for starting it. Please contact dave via PM for specific part questions or pricing, or, EVEN BETTER, call him during business hours at South Point Nissan and talk to him personally. None of us wants to have to do our work from home during our leisure time, and I'm sure dave doesn't either.

When my replacement grey dot coils started failing (2 within a couple weeks of each other) the replacements had pink dots - so I have now replaced all 6 twice out of pocket.

Oh well, it's still been more reliable than most cars.

Guys at the dealers in Canada the last three I put in all have Grey dots. (Pink dots) did Nissan change them again only in the US? Don't tell me these Grey dot ones are also defective I am not going to deal with this BS again. If I have to replace 12 coils then I will sell the car and NEVER buy a Nissan again!!!

Grey dots have gone bad before, including on my car. I think these Pink ones are just a tad better. I just hope they didn't jack the price up for these.

I got my coils from Rockauto, I've had good luck with the Ultra Power brand coils... stay away from eBay and Amazon, you never know what your going to get.

the only engine electronics I have noticed a difference when sticking to OEM is the MAF sensor, everything else I get aftermarket.

i didn't even think about rockauto. I normally use carparts/cargeeks for parts for my 96 max
