I'm sorry, is this something new???

I am a big fan of cleared headlamps with blacked out surrounds though. Looks very nice.

Edit: maybe I'm just not reading correctly. How have they been wired in the past?

ive only done these on 2002/2003 maximas before, i have never wired 2002/2003 headlights into a 2000 maxima before, so this is new for me.

Alright, a few quetions:

1. What are you using to reseal the light housings back up?

2. What are you using to attach the rings to the chrome bezels?

3. Are you using a paint gun to spray the housings or something like a Krylon can?

I only ask because I may be able to help you out on the reseal material.

what headlight color would look good on Sterlin Mist? Has anyone tried coloring the housing the same color as the car?

somebody did that recently, on a light colored car. it was either sterling mist or white i think. it looked okay, but the headlights are light and chrome inside anyway, IMO painting them silver doesnt change enough to make it look good.

1. i have resealed 8 headlights with useing the stock sealant and not one has had any condensation problems because of the sealant
2. i have used goop and crazy glue, goop turns a slight tint of yellow over time so now i am strictly useing 1-2-3 crazy glue found at homedepot, orange package with purple top.
3. i am useing painters touch rustolum flat black spray paint, it drys fast, and does not peal back up when tape is removed.
