NEW coilovers out for 5th gen....D2 Racing... 36-way Adjustable!!!

first found them on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7905050003

then i found the companys website: http://www.d2racingsport.com

i called them up & guy told me he would sell them directly for $900 shipped since they only been in US market for couple months...but said the company has been around for 5+ years

hmmm i wonder how good these coilovers are.....

Do these retain suspension travel, regardless of how low the car is set to?

I don't know if I like the all purple though. It would look like my HPI Super Nitro RS4 with all the purple aluminium parts through the wheels.

This is looking interesting. Plus the option of choosing different spring rates, and pillow ball mounts. The mounts would add $100 to the price, the springs $80 per pair, front or rear, $160 per set-this according to additional EBay auctions they have going. Would also need to know if struts are rebuildable, how does warranty service work, how to adjust, ...... Really need to get some comfort on reliability compared to JIC or TEIN too.

hmm.. their main office looks to be in taiwan. I should just have my father swing by to take a look.

it seems to have the monotube design like the JIC's and TEINS. Pillow ball mount option is also a plus

For 5th gens, it's even more $$.

$425 GD price for Illuminas
$100-$200 for springs

btw...wasn't there already another thread about these D2 coilovers?
