New here. Just picked up a 99 Maxima.

Nothing fancy, needs it share of work but what do you want for $1000

Has the notorious knock sensor code also cranks forever, getting that attended to in the morning.

Few plans for her once I get the mechanical problems fixed. Wont be nothing fancy, but will make her look good and enjoy her !

Ive been around the rodeo a few times. Been on quite a few forums to know NOT to ask too many questions WITHOUT using the search option. I barely have questions, I work in the auto field so I bother the Nissan master techs so I get alot of info from them

But thank you all for the welcome. Great forum from what i've seen. I'm sure I can contribute somewhat to the madness

I feel like you were assaulted for not searching and you didn't even have a question, lol. brutal over here in the 4th gen section.

Welcome to the forum. Your picture doesn't show because you linked to your email. Host it on imgur or something and it'll work.

Welcome to the org. If you have a problem with the car, we'll do our best to help you.

If you like to work on the car yourself, the FSM (Factory Service Manual) is a nice thing to have. If you don't already have one, you can get one from here:

http://boredmder.com/FSMs/Nissan/Maxima/

The above website belongs to a Maxima.org member, Pmohr. Very smart man. He also has a bunch of how-to videos on youtube:

Yes, I'm working on a quick simple look for the car, then I'll start with the engine mods. Looking to supercharge the 3.0 but that won't be until next year

Thanks man. Springs were installed because my 2 kids were being put in the back seat. I had coils on all my cars and with my daughter and her stroller in the back, the car sagged. So springs are good for me ...for now lol

Rides amazing, handles great in the corners, and comfortable on long rides. LED bulbs only for the license plate Fran unfortunately..Tint will be in a month or so

I looked forever to find this 1. Didn't want to spend more than $1000 so I could buy some parts for it and have ash to maintain it
