of course this happens now!!!!

had my car parked in a pep boys parking lot and came out to leave and whammo!!! big, heavy wallmart cart in the right rear with huge dent and 2 nice nicks, ( paint missing ) after i moved it!!! since it was wallmart's parking lot, i went over there and luckily they had camera's!!! filled out a report, and even had a witness, ( who might be the guilty party ). they said their ins. company would be in contact with me in about a week, whoever left it or knocked it into my car is liable!!! sweet!! let's see how long the a$$hole takes to pay me for the damage. its a quarter panel repair, i'm thinkin around 1,500 and up cause they gotta blend the door and into the roof too. we'll see pics to come.

Seems you have the same luck I do. I reluctantly parked up close to the doors at Walmart since I had my daughter and wife with me while it was snowing. Sure enough I came out and had a nice quarter sized dent under my gas door that matched the paint of the vehicle I was parked next too.

My car is a daily and already has hail damage so I just decided to move on. I've come to learn you can't have a perfect daily and have accepted things happen. Now if this was my project car I'd have flipped my **** haha.

Also it seems if you have a nice car people are more likely to care less about it especially if its nicer than what they drive. The human race is a disgusting bunch. I'm reminded every trip I make to Walmart.

My car looks like something the JY would sell.

I just want it to run good.

Maybe when I get older I will care about what it looks like (I am 49)
My next car (Hopefully kids are all gone someday!!) and I can get my two seater

welp, she's going back in for rust repair and shopping kart damage on monday next week!!! right rear quarter will be repainted and door blended into the roof a little, i cant wait. then, in the spring i'm going to do a motor replacement and a body kit. i was going to do a timing chain, water pump kit, but she's at 243,000 and a lower mileage motor will probably be better at this point.

Is Walmart paying for damages or did you end up getting the person who left the cart out that hit your car?

ic.. just wondering because I'm in the same boat as you. Got hit by a cart one night and I was even sitting in my car while it happened. I spoke with the manager on duty and even filed the paperwork only for it to waste my time saying they denied it was their fault. Cameras saw it happened and even had a witness. F it...

here's the thing, they're trying to deny liability on their part when if they just got the car's plate of the a$$hole that left it there they'd be all set and i could collect from them. wall-mart smokes crack and they're greedy a$$'s are going to regret this $hit someday. i don't buy anything from them anymore, nothing. *******....smh
