I think I have an intake manifold gasket leak...

Because my car runs like **** when it's really cold out and drive fine after 10 minutes, I think it's because of the recent intake manifold gasket replacement having a leak.

Anyway, I remember that I only tighten 4 bolts total as listed below. But looking at this picture, I see that there are 2 more circled in red...did I completely missed these when I install my intake manifold?

There are only the 4 bolts to hold the upper intake manifold on. I don't know what the other 2 are for. You can't get to them when the mainfold is on. Have you tried re-torquing the bolts?

Check the ECTS. It can cause a lean fuel mixture and a cold engine needs a rich mixture.

before i do any intake gasket i always take a can of pb blaster or wd-40 and spray all the way around the intake with the lil red straw on it while its running to see if it has a leak..if it does the car will idle faster due to the flamable liquids in the stuff i also use this method to check for vanum leaks aswell its easy and does the trick 9 times outta ten..those bolt holes have no bolts that goes into them so dont stress just make sure u clean the surface really well and try it again if it is a intake gasket

was everything tightened in sequence? were the EGR gaskets reused and were the EGR bolts tightened all the way? was the IACV cleaned well and is the gasket used and abused? same with the TB?

The bolts were tightened in sequence (2,3,4,1). I reused the EGR gasket because it looks like it was still in good shape. IACV is fine (because I've replaced it twice now thinking that's what causing the problem i'm experiencing but to no avail.) Throttle body was never removed.

usually always leaks from the EGR if you reuse the gasket. Its a cheap gasket so get a new one

ive never had this problem with reusing, but a lot of times it drops and people put the egr back on without a gasket. or cant get the bolts all the way tight due to lack of room and patience. but **** it try a new egr gasket cant hurt.
