So long, farewell...

I sold the maxima yesterday. It was a quick sale actually, the first person that contacted me bought the car.

I've grown tired of the clunky auto shifting of the car and the crappy ride...even after replacing every suspension and steering component. I bought a '98 BMW 328i 5-spd for the same amount I got for the max. The bimmer is a superior car imo, and the maintenance really isn't that much more than the maxima. The car is bone stock with 173k miles and it still drives better than the max did. I can't complain too much though, the 4th gen is still a great car for the money. The aftermarket support for the E36 is excellent, and modding it should be fun.

I'm not abandoning the forum though, so I'll be around to give you guys a hard time.

peace,

Brian

Well, sad to see you sell the max! We never got to meet even though you were fairly close! Sounds like you got alot for the max and a good deal on the 328i so congrats on that!

You have any pics of it after you did all the fixing up. I know you were mostly stock but had a boat load of maintenance stuff done.

Yeah, the vast majority of the work done to the car was maintenance. The only mods were the cattman y-pipe and painted wheels. I never really had the money to make her shine, just run all day.

I'm actually moving back to Allen for a year or so to save up some money. I'll be back at Car Toys in Plano. So...I'll be around.
