Fuel Door Switch

Fuel Door Switch
I have searched and haven't found the answer that I am looking for on this subject. Basically, I was passing by my body shop today and saw that the guys were working on a 97 I30. I noticed that the gauge bezel had a switch with a fuel sign on it. When I went to press it, I noticed that it was a power switch to open the fuel door. There was nothing on the floor by the driver's seat.
My question to you guys is the max pre-wired for this setup as well? I am noticing that I have some harnesses taped up that I may eventually start a thread on to know what are they responsible for. Thanks

Yeah I know. I searched and saw that pmohr had one for a sale a while back. The switch and the actuator but wasn't sure if we are pre-wired for it.

I bet you the wires are there. Compare the 1997 max and 1997 I30 FSM and you'll see that the trunk lid and gas door use a lot of the same connectors. Like B1/M4 under the dash. In the trunk, the FSM shows T1 and T2 for the trunk lid and gas door, respectively, practically right next to each other in the trunk on the driver's side.

Can someone here with a 97 and up confirm they have it or not? Thanks.
Cashoit, I am not looking for any gains but was just wondering what the remaining blank spot on the bezel was for and was just curious. Nothing wrong with merging a max with I30 features right?? LOL!
