I was driving an '04 EVO all day complementing the suspension on how well it damps, very smooth over bumps, cant feel or hear anything. The ride is just stiff enough. I assumed it was the stock EVO suspension, I thought it was too smooth and quiet to be anything else. I found out few hours later it was Tein Basics. I dont know how the Maxima set up is, but on the EVO those Teins felt perfect.

I still havent really driven the Maxima with the Ksports (the way I was driving that EVO ) so I cant really compare, and I know the chassis also plays a role - that car only had 11,000 miles - still new which I'm sure helped quiet/smooth the ride down alot.

Good is a matter of opinion.
What did you have to say that was so important?

i agree with chillin. i think that you've heard enough from everyone that was going to imput. all the people taht are familiar with these coilovers already gave you their answers. there is no need for more inputs in this thread. most people won't even reply. and if you still don't know what kind of coilovers to get, then don't get any at all. thats all i have to say

from what I gather only tein basics are made for 4th gens. I don't like the idea of adjusting height on the spring base and no the shock body. Does any one have shock dynos camparing these two?
