All those ebay STS are pieces of ****e! I know from experience. All the welds are poor and cheap material. Mine snapped off while shifting normal in 1 month.

I'd recommend the B&M short shifter, it's a known name and its a quality product. It's a little pricey but it's worth it to not have it snap in half on you. I've had mine for a couple months now and I have had absolutely no problems and the smooths are incredibly shorter and very smooth too. There's also a group deal going on this sts right now in the group deal forum...
