FS: Stillen Hi-Flow intake

Last week I swapped the stock airbox into my friend's 00 SE 5MT. He's not a car guy and didn't like the sound of the Stillen intake that came with the car. The Stillen intake is reportedly less than 1 y/o per the previous owner. My friend gave me the intake for helping him with a bunch of maintenance stuff.

This intake is made for the 5th gen Maxima, but will fit the 4th gen MAF as well since the MAF bolt patterns are the same for the 4th gen, 5th gen, 6th gen, and even G/Z MAFs. I actually test fit this on my G35 to confirm the bolt pattern. The only modification you'll need to make to your car is to find a place for the IAT sensor. I believe on the Stillen intake made for the 4th gen, there's a small hole drilled into the front of the chrome filter cap with a rubber grommet to install the IAT sensor. You could either do that or drill a hole in the over radiator snorkel and place it in that snorkel like they do on the 5th gen cars.

The intake is in stellar shape. I cleaned the filter media, but did not apply the KN filter oil hence the reason the filter is grayish in color. The intake will be sold with the can of filter oil so you can apply yourself. Below are pictures of the intake. The directions are not included, but install is pretty explanatory.

$60 (paypal) shipped in the lower 48. Will shipped via USPS priority mail. PM me or send an email to bronson.david001@gmail.com.

your are correct. ITS a cai if it's cold out. lol.

there is a bracket that stillen includes with this item to help with the weight of the intake and velocity stack. I guess someone with some sheet metal could make the bracket and it will be good.

And yes, stillen drills a hole in the chrome cap of the filter for the iat sensor. Some members have just put a plug in there and left the iat loose. Nice filter though. good sound.

EASY TO CLEAN. you don't have to crawl around under the car to remove the filter to clean it. BIG PLUS in my books.
good luck with the sale.
