got in an accident
some chic in a mercedes blew a yield sign and Tboned me
this happened last wednesday, they gave me a loaner. 2014 Maxima. just hit 250 miles. its James92 Blue too. It feels like its running out of gas all the time. LOL
at this point I should probably mention I was driving my POS 96 Ranger not my VE.
It's a total loss, and I'm getting 3.5x what I paid for it. which means lowering springs for the 3G, among a few other things.

probably should have mentioned im okay. i was in the middle of the intersection and she locked up her brakes before sliding into me. it wasnt an incredibly hard hit. pushed me into a snowbank/street sign and popped one of my tires.
this truck wasnt going to last much longer (it has 239,000 miles, and the odometer hasnt worked the whole time ive owned it, so it has many more miles than that) it was going to need a new clutch soon and the transmission sprung a leak

there was snow on the roads, residential sidestreets that dont get plowed well at all.
the intersection is about 200ft away from my house. i see people run this yield sign all the time..

That's a good way to make a profit. Keep buying old junkers and drive through there and keep getting hit. There are sketchy merge areas like that all over here too. Too bad we can't do that for a living though.

yeah. the last 4 or 5 beaters Ive had cost from $150 to $500. if theres a vehicle for sale for $500 or less I'm going to take a look at it. I bought a 93 Corolla for $150 and drove it for 6 months, then traded it for a bicycle worth over $600.
it was funny because I got stopped before the intersection. A guy was walking his dog on one side of the road, and the mail lady was walking on the other side. I didn't want to be a d!ck and just fly past them so I idled in the road for an extra 5-10 seconds. then I preceded forward and BAMMM chic smokes me.
$7500 worth of damage to her 2007 Mercedes, but she was fine too, just smashed up the front end

Well after insurance settled up with me and towed the ranger away, I drove about an hour to look at a vehicle I found on craigslist. It's a 2000 Pathfinder LE, and I ended up buying it. after having a couple days with it I like it a lot@!! Heated Leather, Sunroof, and a trusty ol VG that runs very well.
