Its been a year since my accident.

I cant believe its already been a year (this weekend) since my 91 SE got totalled. The accident happened 2 weeks after I did a ton of work on it. I installed a Y Pipe, Hi flo cat, b pipe, 5th gen muffler, RSB, 4 new tires and a new system. Then in on flash the fun ended.

For the last few weeks I've been trying to round up parts for my VE to fix it up. I have done very little to this car because of the lack of money, and it sux because I have a lot of work to do. After I get the last few things I need I will take an entire weekend to go house on it! I was going to keep it on the DL, but I figured its better to hear what you guys think.

Things I need:
93 VE 5speed VLSD Tranny with 70k on it. Ive got a deposit on it. I got it for $650 and will be picking it up in a few weeks.
Strut Mounts, dust boots, bump stops
Eibach Springs (waiting on OK from org member)
Stereo Components (revamping my system to HQ stuff)
Antenna/Clock

Things I have waiting to be installed:
Exedy Stage I Clutch (waiting for tranny)
Tokico struts
Stock Spoiler (to be repainted)
Addco Rear Sway Bar
E36 Lights
Brake Pads Front/Rear

Things I want:
Y Pipe
Stillen Front Lip (buying from a friend as soon as I get the $$)
Tinted Windows

I hope the installs go smoothly, then once again I will enjoy my modded max. This winter was brutal on the car, I got backed into, scratched up paint and rust peeking its evil face in the lower part of the back door jamb. I just got a new windshield and sunroof installed this week. This weekend, door moldings are coming off and she's getting a high class buff/polishing.

Damn I love the summer time!

-Clark

If you have your oil changed at Nissan dealer or you use
an OEM nissan oil filter, you will not hear VTC noise.

Once they start its pretty hard to stop them with any kind of oil or treatment.

Just hit 140k this weekend! I cant believe I've put 26k on the car in less than a year! I am soooo grateful that my VTCs are still working beautifully(just knocked on wood). anyone know what is the average life of stock VTCs?
